Independent Groups and Community Events

Royster shares our wonderful church facilities with a number of independent groups as part of our outreach ministry to the community.
The Norfolk Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church uses our facilities for worship and fellowship on Saturdays and Wednesday night.
The award winning Mustard Seed Child Care Center provides daycare for community families, Monday through Friday, for infants and children up to preschool.
A Christian home school, “Classical Conversations of Norfolk” will use our annex second floor each week to support their program, beginning September 2016.
The church also provides space for music lessons for students in the charitable “Academy of Music”.
The “British Isle Dancers” group uses our facilities as well.
The church also supports community activities including civic league meetings and hosts an annual 4th of July community picnic, and an annual Thanksgiving community dinner, to which congregation, neighborhood community and the needy are all invited to attend.
