Worship

Rooted tradition with warmth. The Christ-centered worship at Royster Memorial is full of fellowship and laughter as well as reverence.
Gathered in the Spirit and surrounded by friends and guests alike, we give thanks to God for the grace, mercy, and love that we've received through Jesus Christ. We listen to and focus on the scriptures, and hear thoughtful messages that inspire, comfort, and challenge as they proclaim God's good news found in scripture.
Our spirits are uplifted by wonderful vocal and instrumental music, all further offering glory to God and proclaiming God's goodness and love. Our service has piano, organ, soloists, and hymnals. We love sharing the talents of guest artists.
At Royster Memorial we celebrate the Lord’s Supper (also called Communion or The Eucharist) on the first Sunday of every month. We truly believe this supper belongs to the Lord. The opportunity to eat and drink with Christ is not a right bestowed upon the worthy, but a privilege given to all who come in faith and love. All who come to the table are offered the bread and cup.
